ETHEREUM
Meet our project

DESCRIPTION
Ethereum is a puzzle-horror game inspired in the streets and the art of japan mixed with a futuristic style. Many films like Blade Runner or Memoirs of a Geisha worked as inspiration to make the aesthetics.

The game will be located in Japan in the year 3088, when the world has been consumed by machines and material things. We wanted the story to be one of the main elements, so we will find many things that will make us remember the memories of a geisha that we will know perhaps at the end of the game.

SOLVE THE DIFFERENT PUZZLES TO KNOWN A STORY THAT HAS TO BE TOLD.

HISTORY
Geisha means artist, person (sha) who masters an art (gei). In Ethereum we’ll show to the world the truth about geishas, and the art that they were doing. There’s always a untold and dark history between something that isn’t supposed to be bad. Like whoever in this world has a bad part. Here we’ll try to make the player see that bad things, that are related to the humanity and in part with the capitals sins. And, to the other part, a person (the geisha) that is scared and seeks revenge because she believes that is what she should do, because that’s what the human being has taught her.

FEATURES
- Run away until you can convince the antagonist or even die
- Solve puzzles to change Geisha's purpose
- Explore a dystopian future
ABOUT US
We’re two students from Barcelona, Spain and a sound designer/composer from Roma, Italy. We are studying the art of a Technical Artist in a center speciallized in video games. We actually do modeling, animation, texturing and basically everything necessary to develop a game. In our case, being a group of two forces us to divide the work, one works more in art and another more in programming. The game we've develop is called Ethereum, a horror-puzzle videogame in first person.
